Notes for Authors

The journal “The heat Treatment Market” is published four times a year. Technical contributions can be sent to the editorial office at any time. Below we list some hints to make it easier for all those involved to write a specialist article.

The contributions can be submitted in German and/or English. If the author has his own translation into the other language, we ask that both language versions be sent.

The length of the main article is 4 printed pages. As an indication of this volume, approx. 8000 print characters per language are to be taken as a reference value. In addition, a maximum of 6 pictures or drawings are possible. The pictures and drawings are to be submitted either as graphic files (high-resolution) or as final artwork or color pictures.

The author will receive proof after printing. The galley proof will be sent by e-mail as a pdf file. The galley proof will indicate the latest date of return. If the proof is not returned, it is assumed that the printing has been approved from the date of return.

For the presentation of the author, a recent photo and a short agenda of the author are requested. After publication, the author will receive 5 free print copies. On request, the author will also receive a printable pdf file of the article. Each article will also be published on the internet on the homepage of Dr. Sommer Werkstofftechnik GmbH after printing.
